On 29th of December 2022, students from Chemistry Department of Govt. Model College, Javanga were taken to R.O. Plant which is situated in Vill – Javanga, Tehsil – Geedam, Dist – Dantewada [C.G.]. The students were led by Chemistry Department Head Mrs. Kalendri Thakur and in her assistance present was Miss Yashoda Sahu. In this educational tour the students were introduced to the procedures implied in treating water and also about the machines needed for the purpose. Also, the owner of R.O. Plant Mrs. Sushila Mandavi informed the students about livelihood opportunities in water treatment plants. Importance of clean water, Making of ice in water treatment plants, Challenges in water treatment plants were the other topics in which the students were briefed.
